Hi,
i bought the 1258mkII ft857, will i be able to use it for my ft-8900 or i need to get different cable>??

Yes you need to make new cables, they are not available premade, but they are easy to make, see manual

the yaseu cable looks same as the one in the manual, i used them but still nothing worked!!!

the yaesu cables worked100%,,,

now it only work on local network, when i try in a remote location it didnt!!

Great, if it works locally it works over the internet also, but you need to change some settings and setup the router with portforwarding etc. See manual

i tried every thing to make it work outside my local network, but it didnt!!!
