Title: RC1216H and Alfa Spid

Hi,
Trying to setup my Alfa Spid rotator with the RC1216H.

- I can switch the RC1216H online on and off.
- The DB9-cable is connected between the controlbox and the RC1216H, but the Azimuth-icon on the screen keeps saying "disabled".

Seems like there is something wrong between the RC1216H and the controlbox. Anyone an idea how to fix it?

Hi

There is not much that can go wrong there, check the cables and the settings. It's rare to hear about any problem with Alfa Spid.

Got it.

I was fouled by the color red: the "power/on" button in the screen and the led in de RC-1612H must be red to be on. I'm used that green is on and red is off. I have to admit: stupid user fault. But maybe good to mention in the manual.
