Hi,
My K3 pair have been running well for a few months now with only a couple of minor issues. After a restart I can access the webserver in the remote unit to change settings etc. however after a few days I can no longer access it. I can however still connect and operate the remote transceiver.
Any ideas?

Andy,
Did you change the port to something other than 80?

Hi Mitch,
The port is still set to 80. If I restart the remote unit it works again for a few more days.

Hi Andy,
That is most likely your problem. You should change it to a different port number and forward that
port instead. Address your RRC with a colon following the URL, e.g. rkdgt793.ddns.remoterig.com:XXXX
where XXXX is the new port number. I am pretty sure that your problem will go away then.

Hi Mitch,
Initially I did not have a username or password set for access to the web interface. I have now set username and password for the web interface and the system has been running for weeks without any problems.

Hi Andy,
Glad it is working well. Did you change the port number?

Hi Mitch,
Everything else remained the same. I just added username and password.
