Hello

My setup with K3/0Mini and remoterig boxes was working fine

Now after some months not doing a phone qso, I tried again but no audio out. I am usinh MH2 microphone with the K3/0 mini. I can see my amplifier client showing 1200 watts, but no ALC bars on K3 display, I was monitoring me but not listening my voice.

I had some storaged messages on K3īs M1, M2, M3 and M4 memories and the work OK, perfect output audio showing ALC bars on my K3 display

Any idea what may I check?

Check that you have selected the correct mic in the K3 menus, back or front etc?

MIC SEL = rP.H
MIC SEL = LInE In
MIC SEL = FP.H bIAS

etc

if you should us rP = rear panel or FP = front panel depend s on where you have conencted the Mic cable.
Also check the codec gain settings in both RRCs

Hello

I imported a good setting files on each RRC1258 boxes.

Maybe the audio cable on the remote side is disconnected?

Donīt know what more to check in my side

hello

finally I have time to go to the remote site

I took MH2 Elecraft microphone

I tested on local K3, a radio that is alone to do radio directly from the contest station, and it works OK.

Then I connected the MH2 on the K3 that I use to do remote, it was ON and MH2 was working perfectly, going full power output

Then I arrive at home, connected the MH2 microphone on the K3/0 mini, and doesnīt work?

No idea what is wrong

Bottom of the line, now I cannot TX on FT8!, I need to review what I modify on the K3 menu that is not TX. Radio go on TX but no output

if you have the orginal Elecraft cables I think it's connected to the back mic connector so you need to switch back to rear mic in the K3 setup

By the way It's better to connect the mic direct to the Control-RRC, Less noise

yes, I have the original Elecraft cables

today I finally set MIC SEL to rP.H, this was the way to do FT8 that also was not working yesterday after the changes I did

I am emailing both files to you
