The equipment I use:
Cellphone- Samsung S10+ Android 12
App- RRC NANO Kenwood v1.6.7
Radio- Kenwood TS-480HX
RRC-1258 MkII
I have been using the radio and control modules for nearly 10 years with no issues. Recently I, noticed an upgraded RRC NANO app had been added to the Play Store. I downloaded it to my phone and everything is working except I cannot get receive audio at the cellphone. Transmit audio is OK. I have also tried this with both the phone and the radio unit on my local LAN and have used direct IP addresses to connect to eliminate any port forwarding issues. However, I am confident that my forwarding is correct as it works flawlessly with the control module. I suspect there is possibly some type of permissions issue on the phone. I did note several other people having issues with audio, so I'm trying to see if anyone has got this type of setup to work. My hardware worked with RRC NANO many years ago, but it was a different phone. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
