Title: Connecting the Control-RRC to ethernet port at the PC
Post by: EA5WA on 2012-01-22, 11:11:42
Hi there:

This is my first topic. I'm just starting to test the system at home, before leave it on the remote site.

I'm trying to simulate the connection using two adsl:

The System now look like this:

adsl1 - PC - Control RRC (conected to the PC ethernet port). I don't have physical access to the router.

adsl2 - Radio RRC (connected to the router).

I have 2 problems:

How can the RRC get an IP connected to the PC?

Another problem is related with ddns.remoterig. Although I changed the ddns server in the configuration, I'm still having access trough dyndns.com instead of ddns.remoterig

Is this ddns server working?

Thanks in advance,

EA5EXK Juan Carlos from Albacete, SPAIN

Hi Juan Carlos,

The remoterig ddns works just fine.

Send me a mail at dj0qn (at) darc.de and I will send you a simple checklist
that may help you sort out your problems.
