Great news as I have received confirmation that Kenwood USA WILL indeed finally receive TS-480 series front panels from Japan and will sell them through their dealer network. Also HRO (Ham Radio Outlet) with its 12 stores in USA will begin to stock and sell the Remoterig line.

That is correct, George, but I was told that this was not public information yet.
Availability is in another couple of months.

Hi, it's possibile to use this front panel with a TS2000? Maybe it's a better choice with the VFO knob instead RC2000...

No, that combination is not possible, sorry! The price difference is not going to be significant enough to make that a decision criteria.
An update on availability of the TS-480 heads: Japan is taking longer with the order and production as was hoped. It will likely now be October until the heads are available. I was hoping to bring some along from my trip to W6 this month, but that just won't happen.
I spoke to a local German dealer about this, and they are also contacting Kenwood to see if they can order the heads as well. They would like to attach onto the U.S. order to get the heads produced at the same time. More to come.

Any news about front panel, is there any delaer that have this in stock now?.

I am still waiting for HRO to confirm receipt of the heads.
They were supposed to be delivered last week.

I received a new shipment date from HRO: the first week
of December. I sure hope this doesn't slip again, since I would
like to bring my order back with me from my trip to the U.S.
over the holidays.
There is still no price as well.

I received the OK from HRO to post the following:
The RC-480KIT will become available in about two weeks at
the list price of $399.95.
The kit contains: The mount, mounting base, screw set,
cable and the control head.
Also, they will offer a limited special offer over Thanksgiving
weekend for a RemoteRig-set + TS480 radio + RC-480KIT.
