Hello All:

I have a PCR-2500 which interfaces to my computer with a USB cable. On the radio end it is a USB type B connection. On the computer end it is a USB type A connection.

The question is, can I hook-up the USB type B connector to the Comm 1 port of the "mountain side (remote)" of the Remote Rig and the USB type A connectors to the Comm 1 of the "at the house side (local)" Remote Rig and use the speaker out audio into and out of the appropriate boxes?

Will the audio pass though the Remote Rigs and will I be able to control the PCR-2500 via the computer locally with the "black box (receiver) on the mountain?

Hi

The Remoterig boxes can NOT transfer the USB connection. But with the RC-2500 it works perfect.

Can the RC-2500 be computer controlled thought the Remoterig?

Or do I just use the control head?

I ordered the last head Icom had in inventory.
