Title: K3 remote won't power up

I'm just getting started with K3 to K3. When I turn on the control rig the remote doesn't power up. Should it? If the remote rig is powered up I can shut it down by powering down the control rig. If it can be powered up from the control rig where should I look to enable this function.

Bill,

It can not be powered up using a CAT command. There is a cable in the kit available from Elecraft or Microbit
that plugs in between the RRC's rear I/O port and the K3's ACC port that allows you to turn on the K3.
