Hi all...
Ordered my RRC-1258MkIIs (to use as a control box) from HRO several months ago. When it arrived, I promptly set it on a shelf on the desk and left it be as it would be another several months until I had my K3/0. Well, I now have my K3/0 and have begun pouring through the manual(s). Tending to the strap/jumper issue seemed like a good thing to begin with. When I removed the cover, however, I found no straps whatsoever!!
Returning to the manual for more (and more) re-reading, it seemed possible that since I had ordered the prefabbed cable, the whole strapping thing could be skipped. But upon further reading, I noticed that under such a scenario, I'd have the tiny PCB setting atop the strap bus. Opened the cover again -nope. Not there. The jumpers are all there, just no strapping. I've also gone through all the plastic baggies and checked the floor numerous times. No joy.
Can anyone advise on where to go from here? Local hardware store??

There should be a small plastic bag with 16 red strap wires in the paper box. if they are not we can send a bag to you. Or maybe HRO can ?
if you buy a complete K3 twin set the RRCs are preconfigured and no strapping are needed, but in the case where you buy a standard unit or set they are not preconfigured,

I will do the following:
1. Search around the desk/floor/boxes/bags again.
2. Reach out to HRO (I have my doubts about this as they've said they no longer order from Microbit -their words. Not mine)
3. Contact you with shipping/mailing info.

I don't know who you are talking to, HRO is our biggest distributor we ship to them every week
