Title: K3 Twin bandwidth question
Post by: vk3ga on 2016-10-12, 07:34:42
Hi,

I searched on the forum but several answers now point to pages no longer available on this web site....so please excuse me if this has been answered before.

I'm after the total bandwidth for:

Audio Quality = 3, Full Duplex = Yes, RTP Tx Mode = Continuous, COM1 Mode = Mode-7

Everything else the default values.

Man thanks,

Fraham,

See Appendix A in the manual for the codec bandwidth. The COM ports use the speed that you
set for them in bps. full duplex should not make a bandwidth difference I think, but note that
the bandwidth is synchronous in general, i.e. the same up and down (most DSL services are
synchronous, so the uplink is the critical one to use).
