Title: AS-1289 broken?

Is the antenna switch AS-1289 broken when it suddenly raises the swr high and the linear amplifier goes into swr protection? If I bypass the shifter, this doesn't happen.

Have you tried in manual mode. It may be HF which disturb the data connection which cause it to switch to wrong band or no antenna. Also set  "Unknown frequency=relays off to NO, which prevents it from switching if the fq info is totaly corrupt.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I guess I just found it. One UHF body connector of the device was loose. I tightened it and now it seems to stay on.
