Yet something else strange came-up.....I can no longer access my radio RRC, it does not accept my user
name and password. Since I use the same name/password for both RRC's in that station and have made
changes before, this must be a bug in 2.41 on the Yaesu Twin. There is no other way to explain it. There is no
one else that has access and it is "hidden" behind the router. I also tried telnet with the same problem. And of
course this is the only RRC I use that I forgot to backup the config file, so it will be some work when I can get
a chance to make a hardware reset. Oh well.
To summarize the open issues I have with Yaesu Twin with 2.41 (FT-2000 --> FT-2000):
- User name/password stopped working
- Low audio output, no difference how JMP4 is set (using amplified PC speakers)
- Changing antennas in split uses only the last one set by the radio side on the B VFO
- Some controls are inconsistent, such as power output. Haven't spent time trying all controls
Sorry to be a pain, guys ;)

Good news, I found the location of the "bug", it is in my brain. I drove to my station today, then
did a hardware reset and completely reconfigured the RRC. Tonight it occurred to me what the
cause was:
I found another problem in August with the PC Client not working with the Yaesu Twin, that
problem is described in the thread at http://www.remoterig.com/forum/index.php?topic=920.0
Mike started a mail dialogue with me and I gave him access to my system, but changed the
web password at that time. I expected this to be quickly tested and then I would change the
password back, but this never got resolved, so the password never changed back. I forgot
all about it.
So now you can all see my red face :-[
However, the open issue list should contain this PC Client problem, so here is the updated list:
- PC Client can not turn on radio Yaesu Twin RRC
- Low audio output, no difference how JMP4 is set (using amplified PC speakers)
- Changing antennas in split uses only the last one set by the radio side on the B VFO
- Some controls are inconsistent, such as power output. Haven't spent time trying all controls
So I am still not letting you off that easy ;)
