Hello Tom

My router is an Dovado UMR - www.dovado.com
it has many good features,
- it try to reconnect if connection go dawn
- its can pings ip adresses "continues" to keep the connection running
- it resets itself and start all over again if nothing else helps
- I can start and stopp things (220V) with help of a so called tellstick switches from nexa ....

And just to besure that everything keep om working,
I use a simple timer that resets everything för about 15 min every night.

Hello there
I received  the set of remoterigs for my Icom 706MKIIG about 6 weeks ago.
The initial test with th e the two Remeterig- sets contacting via the internet was ok.
The firm in Germany that has the OPC-.cables in their list informed me last week, that they could not deliver.
It took them 6 weeks to find out?
Anyway, these cables seem to be unobtainable.
I suppose I could make my own if I knew the name and type/manufacturer of these flat 8-pin plugs and sockets interconnecting the actual rig and the front part.
Does anyone know a source for cables/ plugs....or can I just use one of those -much cheaper- CI-V (CT17) cables?
Thanks
Helmut, DL2ECL
