I had it working...

The problem is when the Radio - Program Mode is set to "Transparent", then the IOs are not sent to the remote side.
When I set the mode to CI-V the IOs worked immediately.
I think this is a bug to fix...

Hi Mike
Yes the RRCs are connected.
The only OUT on radio side I can drive is when I program it as "connect". Indedd it drives when the RRC connects.
Can it be an hardware issue?
Thanks
Luca

Hello OMs

I have to drive two relays at the remote end (radio).
I want to use IN1,2 ports as input (control), and  OUT1, OUT2 as outputs (radio).
I cannot have OUT1, OUT2 toggling at the remote side by driving "0" on IN1,2.

OUT1,2 toggle if I set them as ON-OFF  on the radio RRC.
On control RRC side I can read correctly the status of IN1 and IN2, but it seems they are not transferred to the radio side.
To make this trial I set the RRCs as transparent mode, Keyer disabled on control RRC, both RRCs on my desk via LAN (they are connected)

I have the following Settings:
Control RRC
   Keyer Enable: NO
   IN0 Mode: I/O
   OUT0 Mode: Connect
   OUT1 Mode: I/O
   OUT2 Mode: I/O

Radio RRC:
   OUT0 Mode: Connect
   OUT1 Mode: I/O
   OUT2 Mode: I/O

OUT0 in radio side, works correctly (set as "connect")
The devices usually works fine with a IC706 and CW is sent as well with paddles.
I have 2.85 Software version on both RRCs.

I noticed the manual reports OUT1 and OUT2 switched in the I/O connector pin-out, in the Connectors and Control Manual.
I read in the forum this mistake should have been corrected already.
My RRCs were built in 2008, is there any HW difference respect the actual manuals?  Any I/O different behaviour?
As side information, I cannot either drive OUT1,2 on control side, by toggling  IN1,2 on radio side.

Am I missing anything?

Thanks,

Hello,
I was able to insert a 17 charachters of my DYN DNS name on Radio Unit.
On control unit there is no room for more than 15 char.
How can I insert my full dyn dns name in the control unit?
