General / NANO error
« on: 2014-12-09, 14:22:43 »
Can someone tell my what I am doing wrong.  I continue to get an error saying "NANO: Voip not supported".  I have a Kenwood TS-2000, and both RRC's are working fine inside my network on the TTL.  I have the cable for the Kenwood 9 pin data port to the COM2 on the radio RRC.  The control RRC SIP contact is the IP of the radio RRC and is also in the SIP contact of my phone.  Both RRC's are set to mode-4 and the baudrate is the same for all.  The SIP port, UDP audio, and UDP cmd are the same for all.  I have downloaded both the K and S app to my phone.  When I touch the "CALL" button on the phone I always get the error.  Any suggestions.........

When I installed and set up both RRC's at my home QTH, all worked fine (ethernet and wifi).  I then carried the contol RRC and RC-2000 for my Kenwood to another location down the street and still everything was fine.  Now that I have left NC to my vaction place in Florida, I can not connect to the radio RRC in NC.  The green light continues to flash which indicates a network problem.  The only way I can stop the flashing is to change the IP information to match the router.  Even with the green light showing a good network connection, I still can't connect to the radio RRC.  The router here in Florida is a Dlink and the one in North Carolina is a Linksys.  It seems I have missed something.  Any suggestion???????

Thanks,
David

Yesterday I received my Wi-Fi module and installed as per instructions in the control unit.  Red light came on and all seemed well.  Opened Microbit setup, clicked on Wi-Fi and scanned.   Found my router with no problem, saved and closed.  When I went back to Netinfo, it says "NETWORK DISCONNECTED" and the IP address and all other entries look as if the ethernet cable was still connected.  When I click the "Get" button, nothing changes.  Have Ii missed something in the set up or installation?  Everything works fine when the ethernet cable is connected.  My set up is with a TS-2000, the router is a Linksys E-2000 wireless router.  Any suggestions?

Thanks
David
