Feature Requests / FT8900

Good morning,

I use an RR box with an FT8900 for a connection between Africa and Europe (average latency 90 ms).
The FT8900 seems to need very short timing between head and post. Any packet loss or transmission time that is too slow causes the display to micro-turn off.

Would it be possible to consider modifying the software to "compensate" for these problems?

Using the same mode (15) the FT 857 does not have this kind of problem.

Hello,

I made a remote installation for my FT857D with version 7 board.

All is ok (remote head, receiving audio, ptt), but no ... tx audio.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

Hello,

First I wish you an happy new year to you and your family.

I bought 3 unit of your Remote Units. The configuration is the same for all :
-   Remote site connection wifi (ping < 4ms)
-   One unit for the TS480 sat
-   One for the ic 910H
-   One for a SDR receiver

I have a problem with the unit connected to the ic910H. I have very short  disconnections (then sending or listening); the unit at home send a beep (like the first connection is on). The frequence is variable….

The two others units do not have the same problem. The versions on the 3 unit is the same 2.30
I don’t know what to do ..... Hope you have an idea.

Hello,

The remoterig interface works very well with ts480sat.
But I have a problem with the control of my spe 1k.

Config is com 1 on the two end (radio & control) with parameter to 5 - 96600/8/1/0 ans 0d.

Then i try to star the control programm the audio switch on-off on-off and so on
The panel switch on-off on-off at the same time.

I think the cable are ok because if the amplifier is on and the to com1 on mode"1" i can control it.

Can anyone help me please?
