Wow,  Just when I was going to send you the settings Mike I found the problem.  I never looked at the port setting because I was going to use the defaults for now. Well the defaults for the radio side were not the same as the control. Got that all lined out and can now connect send and receive audio.  Now I have a new problem, I am using the speaker that comes with the rc2000 and with the volume set at a comfortable level everything is good.  The problem comes with a loud squelch tail, repeater tone or the volume is set a tad higher.  My rc2000 display dims goes blank and resets.  Like  the af amp is pulling the voltage down on the tll line.  I have the juper 2 inside the rrc unshorterd I am also using a 1 amp wall wart for the rrc. While all this is going on the led's on the rrc never dim.

Thanks,

Thanks Mike, got the rrc-radio showing up as radio now not contol, but still can't connect over my lan.  Still using the setting in my first post all I get is the sip led flashing and the no connect tone from the speaker.  I have tested both of my ttl cables out by coupling both the radio/control cables together and hooking fromthe ts2000 to the rc2000 without the rrc's and it works correctly.  For the life of me I can't get the setup to work. What am I missing?

Thanks,

Hello All,
I just received my RRC1258MKII version 7 today.  First thing I did was to updade the firmware to 2.66 and set my ip's.  The rrc-radio is set to 192.168.1.122 and the rrc-control is set to 192.168.1.121 with the contact set to 192.168.1.122. The only thing that I get is the SIP connection failed LED. I am trying this just over my lan and not getting anyware.  On thing I have notice while looking at the manual is the web interface in the manual shows in the upper left of the screen one rrc is radio and the other is control. When I bring up my own web interface both units show up as rrc-control, is this my problem? Do I have a bad unit? I have attched a few screen caps.

Thanks,
Matt WV9i
