The Audio Port is correct.

The LED is green. I can control my radio, but I have no audio. The same problem as K7MAC, only no audio is the problem.

Thanks Jan

Connection Status = Faulty (see below) when I try to use it with Nano app.

Connection Status = OK when I use it with my RC2000

Thanks Jan

Same here with Kenwood TS2000. Everything seem ok, but no audio at all on my phone...

How can you do that? Is there any tutorial? Two PCs are needed?
Thanks

If you are connected to the router with your Mobile Phone, you Can look for the rrc1258 IP with an app as FING. With this app you Can see all the devices connected to the router. You Can take the rrc1258 IP and go through it. Is not what you want, but Can be useful ...

Good news...

I'm right now on the Radio Site and I have CAT control from the PC on the Radio Shack through the RRC1258. Tomorrow I'll try from the Control Site...

Many thanks to all of you

Same problem here....

I bought a RC2000 mobile controller for my ts-2000 conected to the Remoterig and I found only one problem the dial step is always 0,001 in Fine Mode. It's a bit hard to get to 0,5 when you are in CW.
I like the way to tune on my ts-2000 but not on my rc-2000... :'( :'(

Is there any simple option to make it easy?

Thanks,

Hi,

For my TS-2000 / RC-2000 equipment I am have this configuration:

Control Settings:
Radio:
Program Mode: 8 TS-2000
COM 0 Baud: 57600

Serial:
COM 1: inactive
COM 2: Mode 4
Baudrate 9600
Use USB: yes

Radio settings (remote):
Radio:
Program Mode 8 - TS-2000
COM0 Baudrate 57600

Serial:
COM 1: inactive
COM 2: Mode 4
Bauderate 9600

Cable at control: USB from RRC to PC + TTL from RRC to RC-2000
Cable at Radio: RS-232 from RRC COM 2 to RS-232 TS-2000 + TTL from RRC to TS-2000
My cad program: ARCP-2000 or if you like: HRD

So you can use RC-2000 and CAD at the same time.

Thanks Willi for your help. I Will try next weekend.
Another question is, is it posible to connect a PC at radio Site to COM1 in order to have CAT control when I'm at Radio Site?
Sometimes, I want to control my radio from a laptop without Remoterig, using a Remote desktop connected to that PC.

Last weekend I was trying to control the TS2000 using a PC at Control Site with the MODE 4 without success.
I only Can control with the RC2000 Mobile Controller.
Is posible to use MODE 4 only with the TTL conection or I should use COM2 connected to the radio?
Is there anybody to help me?

in your case, using a manual key not a paddle, you should put in0 as keyer, using the pin 4 and ground. Is the same when you are using a straight morse key. I think you also must remove the PTT activated by keyer.
With this configuration you are not going to have any problem related with latency.

Try it, it's easy to go back if you don't like.

ok, Mitch, thanks for your explanation.

Maybe it could be done "easily" with an Arduino or Rapsberry pi as a translator between both protocols....but I don't know if the protocols are public and known for everybody.

it's a pity I have no idea about how to do it.

Thanks Mitch.

I mean using this control head with another transceiver even from another trade as Yaesu,Icom, etc.

I think it could be a good solution for a lot of people with no money for a twin configuration.
