I have an Icom 7100, and have been running with the control head connected to the Control RRC. Works fine.

I would like to be able to connect to the radio using a separate Control RRC without the control head, using Ham Radio Deluxe to control the radio, but using the Control RRC for Audio and CW paddle. If I set the jumpers on the Control RRC to use CI-V, do I have to set up the Radio RRC's jumpers to operate as CI-V, or can I leave it like it is (Configured for control head operation)?

I would like to be able to still use the control head with the other Control RRC as it is.

I was wondering if it is possible to use an external keyer with the 1274B so I can avoid the "clicky" computer audio sidetone, and use the keyer's internal sidetone instead, and control speed with the external keyer rather than software??

Thanks,

I can't get the local sidetone for the paddle CW to be audible. I tried toggling the sidetone button in RRC Micro, but no luck.
I can see that the rig is being keyed, just no local sidetone.

I cannot access the web page for my RRC-Control Box. I tried updating the firmware hoping that would set it to null, but it didn't work. How can I reset that password if I can't connect to it. I don't see anything in the Microbit Setup Manager that would allow me to do that either.

Oh, you meant for the RRC 1278.......use THIS one:  RRC-1258-CRC_v2.91_2016-06-16.zip

I was wondering......if you plug the Signalink into the Aux/Mic jack where the control head normally goes, how do you control the radio freq, etc?

If you're hearing with a dummy load but not the antenna....I'd say you're right, either feedline, or the antenna itself.

No, but if you see TSQL on the lcd, it's on. You control it by touching on TONE on the bottom of the screen when it's displayed (ie: it is a screen menu, not a setting menu item).

I mean Tone SQUELCH on your radio.

Do you have TSQL turned on ? The repeater might not xmit a tone.

I am forwarding ports to the Remote Rig Radio Box, which is setup with a Static IP on my LAN.  How can I also forward ports to my Webswitch and IP Camera if my router only has port forwarding to one IP?

This article should guide you in setting the port forwarding on your Linksys router:

I have made quite a few QSO's with it so far. It appears that it works best with the WPM < 20. Above that, the sidetone 'clicking' gets bad and overpowers part of the sidetone and makes sending difficult.
