« on: 2013-11-26, 12:28:58 »
Hello Mike

If 12V isnt pluged in , I didnt get a responce on USB .

The unit wasnīt conenceted the last 6 Month .
It was not pluged to the network or power supply, it was save in an cabinet.

That is bad - never used, for what it was made :-( with a remote radio.

Configuration, RRC 1258 / no responce ETH0 - Remote RRC
« on: 2013-11-26, 11:36:30 »
Hello all

I  start a new project for IC706. Take my "old" black first version .

Radio RRC - running well no problem.
Remote RRC - didnīt give response on the ethernet interface.

Readout - IP Settings - all was
255.255.255.255
IP // Subnet MAsk / Gateway and DNS !!
HTTP Port was the old - 11080

Setup via USB - RRC Manger is running without a problem.
Get and set the IPs and HTTP Port.
DHCP or static IP didnīt give a responce.

A live recording (wireshark) of the Interface traffic - didnīt show me anything :-(
After unplug 12V and put it again inside - I didnīt see anythink on the LAN interface

The amber LED is on and green LED is blinking at the interface .

I checkt different Firmware Version , at last 2.75.

Is there a way to check that it is OK ?

Yesterday at Remote side I get the same Error.

I was inside the same IP network !
I made one connect - working some W Station on 10m.
Power off the station... repower -> SIP ERROR.

I give the control unit another IP , but same SIP ERROR.

Disconencted the power supply at the radio side and i can connect again.
One Time -> SIP Error

Hello all

my RRC1258 V1 didnt save the differnet profiles.

What is the right way to save differnt settings for the Profiles.
Is it possible to change the profiles via setup manager software ?

Make the setup like my Control Unit

Over the WEB interface I make 10 -15 Connect - Disconnects with a break around 10sec.

Now a got no connects more. I produced an SIP Error. I am not able to do an conenct again.
Now I have to swap my public IP adresse .. on that place I have a fix one. :-(

General discussion / Re: SCR Port = DST Port
« on: 2013-02-25, 13:06:17 »
Hello Mitch

If that is right , I never have a change to be QRV from a hotel or so where I havent access to the NAT Route - to forwarding the ports. NAT is only possible if SCR und DST port are different.

In my understanding TCP/IP do :
MY PC SCR Port xxxx - > MY station IP Port 11060
My station answer on Port 11060 -> my PC Port xxxx

Then NAT is possible.

If Scr Port and Dst Port are the same - NAT is normally not possible

My WEB interface is on 12380 at RRC Unit side.

If i start the browser an sniff the network traffic I saw :
my browser open PORT 50889 -> WEB Interface RRC 12380
Webinterface 12380 -> my browser 50889

hy Guys

I tested RRC micro 1.6.4 at home and I get some timeout.
DNS IP resolve is right and OK.

RRC Micro start the SIP Communication on Port 11060 to the Source Port 11060.

For NAT the destination port and source prot have to be different - or not ?

General discussion / Re: RRC Client Errors
« on: 2013-02-25, 10:02:52 »
Hello Roland

For my understanding COM0 is only for the Control Panel and not for using the Kenwood program.
So I have to use for control program COM1 . At RRC Unit I have a RS232 cable from COM1 to RS232 for TS-480.

The RRC Micro Client give my only one COM Port for choose . In my case COM6.
