General discussion forum / Lost packets - lost CMD
« on: 2010-01-26, 20:37:07 »
Hello all

i have the problem :

if i lost some audio pakets, i also lost some CMD packets.
very often my PTT at the remote station stand longer than i do it.
The display of the RC2000 some time is only half - rest comes secounds later.
or i turn the VFO - example change VHF Repeater - i hear the next channel but
the display is on the "old" QRG

In the audio stream its no problem to lost some pakets but lost pakets from the CMD
stream isnt really good.

Its very bad with 3G connection but also in the LAN .

Could it be a solution to pu the CMD streams into a TCP stream without the audio ?

Hy Manfred

I have switch the SIP (Audio) Port to 5560 - because 5060 is sometimes blocked in some network
(some AGBs say its not allowed to do VOIP (SIP)).

The rest looks good.

HY Manfred

nearly the same here, but only if i set DHCP and any DNYDNS adress.
Then you have 1-2 sec time after the RRC Manager shows connected to get datas from the unit.
After that few sec it seems that the USB is dead.
Some times teh RRC crashed with error messages

hope ot will help

Hello

RRC have 100% connect on the LAN over a switch !

But if i didnt get an IP adress the PWR LED is flashing.
IF i have no iP adress i didnt can connect the RRC via USB.

What is my way to change the IP settings from DHCP back
to an static IP ?

directly if i start the dhcp server - the PWR LED stoped flasching
(Unit get an IP) and i can connect via RRC Manager

Hello Mike

I set the unit to DHCP and reboot them.

If i have no DHCP Server and the unit get no IP Adresse i didnt can connect
the unit via the RRC USB connection.

The RRC Manager shows RRC connected, but when i will get the SETUP
i get no answer from the RRC.

General discussion forum / Re: connection RS232

Hy all

i found the RS232 with helpfully tips from Mikael.

so i do now:
PC -> 1:1 -> Unit Controller --- NET --- Unit Radio -> crossover (with connected 7 / 8) -> TS2000
(strange was that i must set one time RTS high on the Radio-Unit)

At the moment the RS232 is only opened if the TS2000 is switched on bei RC2000.

Now i search the solution to controll the TS2000 without RC2000 . only by ARCP Software or HRD.

HY all

searching a solution to make a connect from my PC over RRC-1258 to my TS-2000.

MODE 4 / 9600 / 8 / 1 / N . Also connectet PIN 7 to PIN 8  at radio side

My ARPC program didnt get a connect to the TS2000.

The connection from RC2000 to TS2000 runs with no problem.
