Hi

I don't understand what you mean is the problem. You cannot change to use Com1 in the control end if you do not in the radio end. Why not using it as is when it works?

The error tones means that the Control-RRC can not reach the Radio-RRC.
Have you checked the SIP contact in the Control-RRC. If you have changed IP of the Radio-RRC you must also change the SIP contact, so the the unit nows where to "call"

Hi

You can connect your straight key or PC to input 0 in the Control-RRC then you can simultaneously change between paddle, PC or straight key. I recommend everyone to use this method. Keying the TS-480 directly should only be used on internal LAN where the latency is always the same. Input 0 must be set to "keyer" also.

Yes you must use a RS-232 to TTL converter between the PC and the RRC if you want to do as you describe

You can not combine them, when using CW the inputs are not available. But you can control the ouputs on the Radio-RRCs via the web interface

It depends on what you mean by radio side.

Hi

Setup everything as you will use keyer and paddles, and check that it works. Then activate "Keyer" on input 0 in the Control RRC IO-menu. Connect the straight key to input 0 in the I/O RJ-45 connector, see manual for pin config.

If you just use I/O for the straight key you can not use the key delay, and your CW may be disturbed by jitter on the internet.

if you use Win7 or Vista often the "buffer multiplier"  must be set to 2 or the "packet size" to 40 ms, or sometimes both

det är inte så konstigt att TXD/RXD är på olika pinnar, den ena konakten är ju en Hane och det andra en Hona.

På Control RRC där båda är hona så är ju pinningen lika

I don't now exactly what the Sprint box does, but in general a 3G/4G router with a ethernet connector can be used the way you explain. I use it my self on exibitions etc where no WLAN-Internet is available. I have used boxes from Dovado or Ericsson but the brand name is not important.

Det är inte lätt att säga vad du gjort för fel, men jag vet att det funkar Tilman har kört den och ERC har ju skrivit om hur man kopplar in den på sin hemsida så det funkar. Tänk på att kopplingen på com1 och 2 inte är lika.

Jag har ingen själv så jag kan inte ge mycket mer råd

The yaesu twin only works with com2

I do not exactly understand how you want to connect the com ports

The development of the twin solution was very expensive and we think it's more fare that those who really need it also pay for it rather than that we raise the price for everyone.
