Jeg har helt siden versjon 2.59 kom kjørt den og hele tiden har det vist følgende informasjon under "Status", Radio: står til ON, uansett om radio er av eller på.
Jeg gjorde en oppgradering av firmware nå den 15/6, til versjon 2.72, men radio står fortsatt til ON.
Hva skyldes dette??

Jeg bruker ICE i radio enden. Abbonementet gir meg 8Gb pr. mnd i ned/opplasting. Den siste tiden har det gått en del GB ut/inn gjennom modem/ruter.
Jeg har gjort en del tester ved å koble utstyr til/fra i et forsøk på å finne ut hva som trekker på kvoten.
Det kan se ut som det er RRC boksen.
I et forsøk på å stoppe at RRC radio boksen står og "lytter" etter RRC controll boksen, har jeg satt RTP Tx mode til: squelch.
Noen andre som har opplevd tilsvarende?

Hei
Jeg har i den siste tiden fått problemer med at det går mye datatrafikk UT(opplasting) via min ICE ruter, på radio QTH.
Nå har jeg brukt remote systemet siden tidlig i 2010 og aldri hatt problemer med mye datatrafikk.
Men, jeg må allikevel spørre om andre har noe erfaring med dette, eller om noen hos Remoterig kan svare på hvor mye datatrafikk som går til/fra systemet når det er i bruk??

Jeg forsøker og har forsøkt mange ganger, uten å få løst følgende:
Ønsker å koble RRC control til lokal tilkobling på laptop.
Jeg har opprettet "bro" mellom trådløst nettverkskort i laptop'n med lokal tilkobling samme sted.
Har også koblet RRC control til laptop med krysset ethernett kabel.
RRC control får ikke hentet noen IP adresse for å komme på nett.
RRC control er satt til DHCP.
Noen ganger får jeg melding om at det er en IP konflikt.
Har også forsøkt å endre IP adresser i RRC controll og slå av DHCP, men dette fungerer heller ikke.
Noen som har noen gode råd???

Configuration, RRC 1258 / PROBLEMS AFTER NEW INTERNETT MODEM

I have placed in a new modem on my internett connection. The new speed is download 30Mbit and upload 5Mbit. This is in the controll end. Before this, the speed was 20/2. The RRC control unit connect to the internett, but it's not possible to switch on the radio. Everything is ok at the radio end. Anyone out there who have any suggest for what to do??

I would like to use my RRC control unit during travelling, if possible. How can i connect the RRC unit to internett when only wireless connection to internet is possible?
Can i connect it to my laptop by sharing the local network card?  What kind of settings in the RRC do i have to use??

Configuration, RRC 1258 / TIMEOUT PROBLEMS

I use TS-480SAT and RRC-1258MkII. I have got the following problem:
remote transmission via internett suddenly got several "time outs" of 2-5 second. I thought it might be wise to upgrade firmware. I have V.2.28. Can i go directly to last version for upgrade, or do i have to upgrade all versions between 2.28 and the newest one? I can't make QSO's, in fear of cutting the connection.
Any other suggest than upgrade the firmware???

Is it any solution for remote control ATU? I consider to put up a amplifier. That can be switch on/off with my webswitch 1216E, i presume. Between the amplifier and antenna, i need a tuner. I would like an automatic one, if there are some possibilities to remote controll such tuner??

General discussion forum / TS-480 TOGETHER WITH PRO SET 5 HEADSET

Anyone out there who knows of this problem:
I have TS-480. I have tried to use Heil headset PRO SET 5 with HC 5 element. I use the included adapter and connect it to the AUX/MIC on control RRC and the other end into the external sp. on TS-480 display. When i push the PTT button on the head set or if i use a foot paddle, it seems to transmit a strong signal. The S-meter goes to top and it's not possible to send out a normal SSB.
Anyone who have any ideas here?
When i use the headset direct connected to the radio at the radio QTH, it's now problem. So nothing is wrong with the head set.

Radio settings:
I have tried many combinations of radio settings on aduio quality, but i have so far never got the perfect combination.
At radio end i got about 1,8 Mbps upload speed. At control end i got about 2 Mbps upload and about 20 Mbps download speed.
Anyone out there who could give me a suggestion of the correct level on Aduio quality under "Radio settings" at both ends?

I have the "old" web switch 1216E, and there is no forum for that, therefore i use the forum for 1216H. I have never used 1216E, so i am unknown with the settings. You suggest to use an DynDns host name to get to the switch through the router. (i have no possibility to get a static IP adr. from the ICE supplier)I already have DynDns account and a host, in use with my RRC1258MkII. I would like to use the switch to controll the power for my radio, on/of. As the ICE router i use at the radio end only accept one DynDns host, i feel i have a problem. Any suggestion for that?  And one more thing, the 1216E does not have any settings for DynDns like the DynDns settings in the RRC 1258MkII. I have upgraded the software to V.1,07 in the 1216E.

Anyone out there who can tell me what kind of interface i have to use to run digimodes via the remote system.?
I am using RRC1258MkII in both ends. Today i am using th SD2000 interface from AG Antenna. But i have to connect that box to my computer in the radio end, to use the sound card. So that goes very well when i am at the radio end and running my radio there.
But when i am at the control end, this is not a success at all. At the controll end i receive the sound through the RRC unit and into my computer at the control end, and into the DM780. But i am not able to transmit, the PTT function "not connected". Anyone who can help? please..............

Jeg har flyttet "shacken" på hjemme QTH. Etter det får jeg dårlige rapporter på modulasjon/audio. Dette har tidligere ikke vært noe problem. Jeg har ikke gjort noen endringer etter flyttingen. Har noen der ute noe eksempel på hva som kan påvirke modulasjon/audio i kontroll enden?

Konfiguration av RRC 1258 / FEILMELDING PÅ RRC RADIO

Under vises feilmelding på RRC radio. Jeg får ikke kontakt med RRC radio. Jeg kan imidlertid kontrollere den via en computer i radio enden, men oppnår altså ikke kontakt via web. Feil kode nr. 9- Håper å få svar på dette i løpet av dagen i dag, skal til hytta i dag og kan da se på dette når jeg er der. Radio befinner seg altså på hytta.
Har oppdatert software i begge RRC, til versjon 2.33

Thank's for upgrading of software for RRC 1258MkII. Never the less, for me, an "non software progarmming" user, it is rather difficult to understand the "message" in the DUNDNS status. Below you can find what my RRC tells me:
