CONNECTION ISSUE WHEN TURN ON RADIO
« on: 2012-01-04, 06:58:04 »
HAVE A STRANGE ISSUE WHEN I TRY IN THE MORNING TO TURN THE RADIO ON.
SIP CONNECTION IS OK BUT NO DISPLAY (IC-706) AND NO SOUND.
RED LED IS OFF AND YELLOW IS ON.
IF I TURN ON & OFF SOME TIMES MAYBE WORK OR IF I LEAVE IT ON IN FAULTY CONDITION AFTER SOME TIME IT WILL WORK. STATUS PAGE WAS COPIED DURING ISSUE AND WAS : Radio   ON
Connection status   Faulty(See below)
SIP status   Connected/transfering
Last SIP error   None
RTP status   Excellent(59)
UDP cmd status   Error(0)
THIS HAPPENS IF I TURN RADIO ON AFTER SOME HOURS.
ANY ADVISE?

Hi

As you can see the cmd channel ( the one which transfer the data to the display) is blocket some where between the Radio-RRC and Control-RRC. That's why the Control panel is not working. Check that you have the latest firmwares in your routers (both ends), there are lot of buggy routers out there. You can also try to change the cmd from port 12000 to something else.

Finally I changed the port to 12200 instead of 12000 & put on router wide range 12000 - 12300 instead of just 12200.
It seems its working now.
I checked also next day and all worked from first start.
It looks that issue is solved.
Thanks for your advises.
