Lenovo 100s laptop Windows 10 USB issues
« on: 2015-12-26, 22:31:29 »
Greetings and a belated Merry Christmas to all!

I received a Lenovo 100S laptop running Windows 10 for Christmas. I have downloaded Micobit Setup Manager and can connect to the "Control," only when the control is connected to the internet via the wifi module via my browser. I can not, however, connect to the Control via USB. Any suggestions? I'm guessing my new laptop is missing a USB driver that recognizes the RCC boxes.

With "cannot connect via USB", do you mean that the PC does not react at all when connecting the RRC, or do you mean that Setup Manager does not "see" it? If the PC finds it a HID(Human Interface Device) should be added in Device Manager when connecting the RRC.

I would recommend to try the new 1.30 before going that route  :)
