Can I somehow read values from the webswitch
« on: 2011-02-22, 18:43:34 »
Hi,
I would be very useful to read the present state of the relays via LAN (and also the nexa remotes and the 1-wire values).
Is this somehow already possible or will this feature be implemented in future versions?

That is not possible as of today. What did you have in mind? Getting an XML file with the states?
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.

I'm not very familliar with xml, but yes, that's probably what I'm looking for. I need to integrate the switch with another application.
Another very useful feature would be to easily switch between different operational modes, like home/away, night/day etc.

What would those modes do then? I can't easily see how that would be integrated with existing functions  ;)

Let's say you assign multiple programs to each switch, setting the mode would then decide what program would be active. I.e., when you are away, you may want to save energy by a lower indoor temperature. So, basically, modes would represent program groups (meta-programs, programs for programs) which can be programmed or manually set to be active.
Please c.p. Nexahome (http://hem.bredband.net/hekj/nexahome/manual/index.html#Topic35).

I leave it to you to find out  how it would be integrated with existing functions   ;)
