Hello OMīs!
Following situation:
We use a RC-1216 to rotate a Yaesu G1000 manually over the web. The RC-1216 is connected via serial cable direct to the rotor-interface.
Now we would like to add an automated rotor control by our Log-software UCX-Log. We need an additional serial port from the pc to the rotor interface for this.
So, when a key is pressed within UCX Log, the rotor should start to turn.
But the original manual control via web page should still be possible.
I am not shure if it will work, if I just switch the serial cables of the RC-1216 and the PC parallel to the rotor-interface?
Can anybody give me some advice please?
