yaesu FT-891

Not work.
Connection status   OK
SIP status   Connected/transfering
Display not wake up, no lights.
When press "ON" some radio relay cliks.
Ethernet data led starts blingking.
Data:9600, 8, none

How have you connected ft891 as far as I remember ft891 vad no analog CAT interface

Ft857 and ft891 protocol for the control panel is totally different. We looked in to adapt for 891 but it was not possible

I also check diagram and there is TXD and RXD whitch could be RS-485 on some

Out of pure curiosity, is this because the FT-891 uses SPI between the control panel and body not normal UART, I reckon the timing requirements would be drastically different.

I don't remember the exact reason, it's years ago. But we borrowed a radio and did some reverse enginering and decided that it was not worth the effort to try to adapt for it.
