Icom 7100 problem
« on: 2025-11-19, 16:45:49 »
I have three remoterig setups:
Elecraft K3 ID to AZ
Icom 7100 ID to AZ
Icom 7100 AZ to ID
These have been in service for years.
The K3 works well, but both 7100s now have no transmit audio.  They connect and receive as normal.
I have screen shots from when they were working, so I can see that nothing has changed in the setup.
The head and microphone work correctly when connected directly to the radio.
I have removed and cleaned the jumper boards (applied deoxit).
Any suggestions?
Thanks

This may make no sense, but try it. Change the ports on the remoterigs to an alternate port and update port forwards accordingly.

Many years ago at a specific ISP I was using, I suspected some admin was blocking certain ports I was using. By changing them around, I would get it to work again.

Today I use a VPN so that issue hasn't happened again.,
