I'm setting up a K3S<->K3/0 TWIN and have the two radios communicating with each other..
K3/0 controls the K3S.
I'm able to transmit Mic audio from the Control unit to the K3S thru the RADIO unit - can hear Mic Audio in the K3S Monitor.
I'm able to use a paddle at the Control unit and it keys the K3S via the RADIO unit. The CONTROL unit's CW speed knob adjusts the keyer speed as you'd expect.
But I have no speaker audio at the control unit.
I'm not hearing either any Keyer side tone at the CONTROL unit via the SP connection, nor any received Audio. I don't get any clicks, or CW announcements at power up etc.
The RRC-1258MkII CONTROL & RADIO units were recently purchased used but I'm not sure the control unit has ever been used - it had no internal jumpers set, etc.
I've updated both units with current firmware. And the parameters all seem to match between the units.
I'm suspecting that the TDA7267A Audio Amp chip may not be functional?
I did remote into another Ham's RRC-1258MkII RADIO, and it connected just like mine did locally - and had NO receive Audio there as well.
Anyone have any suggestions for me?
