Repair of 1258
« on: 2015-08-20, 22:56:07 »
I have 2 1258MKii s/n 3433 and 6422. Both have been damaged by reverse polarity power supply. Is there a repair facility? Is it worth the effort?

Hi if it's the only problem it's worth repairing. Take out the PCBs and send only the PCBs to us in Sweden in a padded envelope. Be sure to set value 0 for the customs.

I believe I'll also have to send my controller side RRC because it just stopped tuning on.  This unit is always on and the other day I noticed it was not on.  I tried a different power supplies and also tried powering it up through the USB but nothing works.  Is there anything more I can try?
