General discussion forum / Losing Remote Connection - SIP Error
« on: 2015-06-25, 21:11:16 »
Good Day.
I've been using a Mk128III setup on a TS-2000 for about a year now. As far as I can tell, I have everything configured correctly but something is wrong. My connection will work flawlessly for days, even weeks and then I will be unable to connect to the radio. It's acting like the ddns server isn't updating but according to the Status page on the Control side, the ddns is fine but there is a SIP error. Seems the only way to resolve the problem is to have the Radio side cycle power. It's becoming quite embarassing to have my father-in-law reset my radio every few days/weeks and I'm at the limit of my technical knowledge with networking. So far, all of the suggestions I've read have not fixed the problem for me. Also, my Radio side is opened to the DMZ in order to prevent port conflicts. Below is the readout from my status page at the Control side with IP address and ddns server name replaced with x's.
