Checked on the IPv6 issue and that isn't it.  I'm guessing that the IP address referenced in the "DNS Status" is the IP address of the Dynamic server?  It certainly isn't the IP address for either location as both of those start with 110.

I changed a couple things on the Radio side to see if it helps.  Since I've verified that the Dynamic DNS is doing its job I'm still left with the mystery of why the internet connection between control and radio is lost.  I changed the Ping function on the radio side to ping Google every 30 minutes as opposed to pinging the router (gateway as suggested by default) thinking that if I can be absolutely sure the radio side isn't losing contact with the internet, and the Dynamic DNS is keeping up with the IP address then that eliminates most if not all of the issues I can think of on the radio side.  Which would leave me with the control side.

I don't know if this matters much, but we're using DSL internet between the two locations.  On the control side, a DSL modem to a router to the Remote Rig.  On the radio side, we're using the ISP-provided modem/router in-one.

What's interesting here is that the IP address shown for DNS status is not the current IP address for either location.  I have verified that the Dynamic DNS service is updating as it should.  I've seen the IP address of the radio site change twice this week and now that I am on site, I have verified that the address shown (where the x's are above at "External IP") is correct.   Any thoughts?

Good Day.

I've been using a Mk128III setup on a TS-2000 for about a year now.  As far as I can tell, I have everything configured correctly but something is wrong.  My connection will work flawlessly for days, even weeks and then I will be unable to connect to the radio.  It's acting like the ddns server isn't updating but according to the Status page on the Control side, the ddns is fine but there is a SIP error.   Seems the only way to resolve the problem is to have the Radio side cycle power.  It's becoming quite embarassing to have my father-in-law reset my radio every few days/weeks and I'm at the limit of my technical knowledge with networking.  So far, all of the suggestions I've read have not fixed the problem for me.  Also, my Radio side is opened to the DMZ in order to prevent port conflicts.    Below is the readout from my status page at the Control side with IP address and ddns server name replaced with x's.
