it works with the RRC-1258 perfect from here ... i have tried from different networks and PCs with the micro without success, i guess must be something with the micro setup but cannīt find what

Hola Jan,

I think iīm doing correctly. I have COM 2 for CAT at RRC Radio site.

At RRC-Micro COM 2 Mode 4 for Kenwood and PC COM Port also 2.

I try to connect HRD using COM 2.

Is this correct ?

Hola to all,

i think i am having problems installing Virtual Ports under Win 7.

Iīm using

RRC-Micro 1.9.2.0
Dongle 1274B 2.1.0.0 Frimware
RTP 1.2.0

Win 7 Pro

I  followed all the steps in the installation and Setup guides for the Software Micro-rrc. I can see the Virtual Ports under Windows Device Manager but when connect HRD always gives an error trying to read freccuency.

I have deleted all the Microbits Ports using the MicrobitDeviceManager utillity and reinstalled the rrc-micro software again, always under Administrator privileges, but always have the same symptoms later with HRD.

Any Help will be wellcome, i must be doing something wrong.

Hola

Just fixed the problem, after Mitch hint i looked around the internet setting in the router and founded that  this option " Configure the second IP Address and Subnet Mask for LAN " was activated, so i tried to uncheck and now i have audio and itīs working as always.

Hola again

1) Itīs all the same as have been working, just changed one router from another one ( older ) but in the same location ( same Net ). If i connect the older router the system works ok, then if a changed to the new router i can power on the radio but without audio.
Iīm using DSL, Movistar provider , router is a Home Station ADSL BHS-RTA.

2) the status i posted is from control RRC side . I have no changed any at Radio side.

I can browse the control RRC entering 192.168.1.227 at my web browser, so internal IP seems to be ok.

Hi Mitch,

Thanks for answering. Still not working with the new router.

1) Changed to several different SIP ports, 1300, 5050 ... no audio when powered on the radio.
2) Donīt know what you mean exactly here, but configured with setup manager wihout success. BTW new router is in the same net, with same IP as have benn working for years with another router.
3) Havenīt found any SIP ALG setting, been looking around inside router confi aswell reading all the manual.

Still looking for any solution.

Hola to all,

I just changed to a new router at control side in the same net i have been using lately, made all the initials settings configuration as always i made before in others routers, but with this one i have no audio into my TS-480.

I have read the forum and i tried to change sip port with no success.

Firmware is updated to last version

This is what appear at status RRC control.




Any idea  ?

Hardware, Cabling, Installations / RRC-1258 MKII + TS-480 + ALFASPID rotor

Hola to all,

Managed to setup Alfaspid rotor via COM2 sucesfully but since i need COM2 for CAT control and cw keying via PC i tried to change ALfaspid to COM1, but everytime i plug the connector into COM1 of RRC-1258 box  the rotor start to move to left side. iīm using the same wire as worked with COM2.

Any suggestion ?
