I should also mention RemoteRig sells a remote power switch, too (
http://www.remoterig.com/wp/?page_id=166 ). I actually bought one, but never used it because I like that the other units have power outlets installed so I didn't have to do any wiring myself. But if this is something that would fit your needs, I still have it and it even includes the optional RS-232 adapter.
