The more I use the app mobile, the more I need the bluetooth headset capability.  I get constant reports of LOUD ambient noise whenever I talk (essentially using the "speakerphone" mode).

Anyone else having this issue or think this is the #1 upgrade?

No, nothing new regarding this. Sorry for that. Also sorry for not being able to add new features in an order that satisfies everyone since what is being considered "a must/most important" depends on who you ask.
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.

I have to correct myself! There is indeed news regarding this as it should be implemented but not yet published due to holidays etc. Which version of the app is it you have?

A question: Does your headset have A2DP support?

I use a variety of bluetooth headsets; Bose headset, Sony Car bluetooth interface, Motorola headphones - quite a bit.  I am mostly interested in the BT microphone capability.  When using my phone as a "speakerphone", the mic pics up all the ambient sound.

Sorry, I don't know the details of the BT device itself.

Try the  rigs   compression off ...and a lower  level on ALC that should help a lot..
