« on: 2015-11-25, 14:45:54 »
Hello, New to this forum and my name is mike. I have been trying to setup my new remoterig v7 to my yeasu 857 with no success. I have been through the setup instructions several times with no luck. Must be missing something. I would appreciate any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong. thank you, I am looking forward to using this product.

Mike

It's difficult to help if you don't tell anything about your problem ?

I cannot get the remoterig to connect with the radio. I have followed the manual as well as I can but still no success in connection. Have forwarded all ports as described.

Thanks

You should always start with both units one the same LAN , no router involved. try that first. You can email me the exported settings(html) files from both units, so I can check your settings.

Took the rig over to a fellow ham and computer guru, Rusty. He had everything up and running in an hour. I am going over today and he is going to give me the rundown on setting the rig up. Thanks for your help. I will post latter to let you know where I went wrong. By the way my friend VE3WVA really loved the units.

Thanks
Mike
