Use with Signalink and D700
« on: 2017-01-27, 21:06:43 »
We are trying to setup a station in the local hospital.  The radio body is installed on the top floor and the remote head is on the main floor..Remoterig is used to connect the control panel of the Kenwood TM-D700.  Communications between the units is thru a fiber optics cable.  This system is working to control and transmit/receive with the radio.
How can we connect a Signalink USB to the radio?  Will we need another set of remoterigs for communications to the radio 6 pin data port? or is there a way to use the DB9 connection to pass this information?

The audio input to the Signalink comes from the control RRC's SP jack. You use the control
RRC's AUX/MIC input for the audio output of the Signalink. Position jumpers and strapping
to match in both devices and of course use an RJ45 adapter.
