Hello Anyone,
Recently I've had several bewildering issues with my RR Control unit.
I've been owner RC1258's since 2009 and never had these issues. Current RR 1258 purchased in 2016 so I'm stumped.
Name Value
Company Microbit
Product 1258
PID 4
Version 7
HW 8
Software 2.91
Bootloader 1.13
Compiler 4.6.2
Build Jun 16 2016 07:13:13
First issue: Can't read Control unit with MB 2.0 v1.31 with two different USB cables. Just upgraded MB 2.0 to v2.06 same result.
Failed getting SW version: Failed opening the device:
Device connected!
Failed getting SW version: Failed opening the device:

The other strange issues are related to my profiles. I have access to two other RR radio's which have been working flawless for several years now.
Will address then in later posts.

Have you tried to connect to another RRC with the same PC and USB cable ? if it works the USB interface is probably damaged even if I have never seen a broken USB interface as far as I remember. Bad cables are more common

Hello Mikale,
Thanks for the reply on both forum requests, I looked them over briefly, but will get into them very soon, I appreciate your support.
LOVE your summer house!
