Hello

I know this was discusses many times, but I couldnīt figure out who to solve it.

I have K3/0 Mini and remoterig boxes working perfectly on the SAME network

My internet link to the station broken, so I installed another internet system at the station

So now I have diferent networks on both sides

I have a dyndns service, I setup it on the remote router and I add it on my local remoterig settings (192.168.0.169)

Sometimes it worked, but now is not working, so i think is this IP changing but I couldnīt figure out how to have it working

I apreciate any help to set up it

thanks in advance!

hello Mitch

I start over

I did that, but on http://ddns.remoterig.com/status/index.php I received Microbit DDNS Result xxxxxxx not found!

So seems remoterig dynamic dns service is not working?

hello Mitch

before that I have a link to the station to send internet, so I was in the same network, radio and control where in the same network, no need to configure DDNS

Now I have two diferents networks. The main one in my house, and a new one (Movistar 4G router) in the remote site.

I tried to configure DDNS, but I am not good at this point and couldnt yet have it working

hello

I change my remote internet provider with Movistar Amper 2000 4L router like this one https://www.robustel.com/en/product/r2000-vpn-gateway/

I do all the configuration but couldnīt find where to setup DDNS to access it from other network. Movistar support on my country didnnīt give a solution yet, so I want to know if someone can help me to tell me where to register my tplinkdns on this router

thanks in advance!

Hello Mitch

this is very interesting!, will look for some Youtube video to see how it works

But, no time for this now, i am leaving tomorrow.

Is there any way to turn on the control radio from 192.168.0.169?

thanks,
Jorge

HELLO

I want to know if itīs possible to turn on remotely, maybe through local remoterig box, the radio that I use for control side, Elecraft K3/0 Mini

I will travel, but I donīt want to carry my control side equipements (K3/0 Mini, remoterig, paddles, Mic), so thinking that if I can turn on my K3/0 Miini, I can do CW with N1MM+, using TeamViewer to access my control site laptop.

I donīt want to keep the radios ON for a week, so I need to turn on it anyway

thanks!

Hello

I want to share a solution that seems is working for me.

I couldnt go to remote site to try some ferrites on cables, but I read a note from Elecraft about Audio quality on Radio Settings on remoterig configurations

When I had the problems, I have Audio quality = 8 - linear 16 bits 16 khz

I changed it, i used Audio quality = 5 but problem persist although last more time to apear.

Finally I am using  Audio quality = 3 Alaw 12 khz and is working very good, no more problem with lost connection with remoterig boxes

Hi Mitch

today I was playing on FT8 on 15 meters, and no problems with remoterig, K3/0 Mini WSJT-X

Now on 160 meters, with 300 watts, and again the problems.

So i am thinking maybe some RFI problem getting into radio remoterig AUX/MIC connector? That could be possible?

I will go to remote site and add some ferrites to this cable going to remoterig box

HELLO!!

I did a search about this problem.

I was using two K3/100 and never happened to me to see that the TERM does not go away and the remote K3 display does not show

10 days ago I got a K3/0 Mini with factory cable RRMINICBL and I started often to see that the TERM does not go away and the remote K3 display does not show

So the problem may be is a bad RRMINICBL  cable?

thanks!

Hello Mitch

I go directly to the laptop, once I had it working, I use the soundcard

finally I got it. Today I received a PDF file from Elecraft, Digital Operation with K3-0 Remote System v-01.pdf

I found that I had bad settings on my radio Remoterig

I had in IO SETTINGS

OUT0 mode   :   connect
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

OUT1 mode   :   I/O
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

OUT2 mode   :   keyer
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

so I changed it to

OUT0 mode   :   connect
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

OUT1 mode   :   baudot-RTTY/45
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

OUT2 mode   :   keyer
OUT0 on/off   .   OFF

And now WSJT-X is working :-)

hello

I bought a K3/0 Mini, and I have a problem to run WSJT-X

I have a cable from K3/0 Mini SPEAKER to Laptop MIC and other cable from K3/0 Mini MIC to Laptop HEADPHONES

I can decode signals, but is impossible to have a transmittion. K3/0 Mini put on TX, but no bars on ALC meter

Any idea what I am missing?

thanks!
