TS-2000 Mic
« on: 2011-03-14, 14:31:35 »
I have my RRC-1258MkIIs working but the microphone does not key the transmitter.  On the TS-2000 I did make my own cable but I checked it many times and I do have it pinned out correctly as per the documentation.  I turned on vox and no audio at the radio.  Anyone have this problem but found the fix?

Hi,

when using VOX check the "Continuous RTP Tx" Setting. See manual page 47!

Thanks for the tip.  Now I really know I have the cable wrong.  Now audio through this mic to the radio.  Everything else works.  I do have a mic with an rj45 conector on it and when I connect it, the incoming audio stops.  Anyway I still have the problem.  I guess it could be the internal strapings but that seems good unless it is reversed.

I could not get my TS-2000 mic to key either. However, both my Heil Goldline and the TS-480 mic worked perfectly with the TS-2000.
