IC-7100 jumper settings
« on: 2018-04-06, 01:29:50 »
we have 2 late model IC-7100, we bought the additional 1258M boards.....so does that support the green and yellow wire as shown on page 108 of the manual? And should we follow page 108 for the 7100 or page 102 for the Icom CI-V as they contradict one another....

Hi

The 1258M board is all you need on control side, at radio side you need all the srtaps including the yellow and green, they are different colors just to make it easier to follow the wires

so what is number 1? The one with the notch? The picture in the manual shows #1 as the second pin in.....how is the picture in the manual oriented, from the front or rear of the control unit?

On page 108 you see both a picture and a drawing showing the strapping. The RRC front is down in both.
The figures showing the numbers of the pins in the MIC/AUX connector which they are connected to.
