Hello

I don't know why,  now  I am not able to establish a connection from the Internet through my NATed ip address. Everything seems to be as before.

I think it happens after the upgrade to version 1.44.

Is there any way to check if 11000, 12000 and 5060 UDP ports are available?

BTW if I make a connection in the same LAn, eberything is ok

Hello

Is it possible to use any software (i.e. a SIP client) to connect directly from a PC to the radio site (where the RRC is available)?

The idea is to be able to use the radio through HRD or similar, with audio through RRC when your are in an airport, hotel et c.. without your remote RRC unit

Hello

After being succesfull with the TS-480, I've setup a remote audio and mic connection for my TS-2000. It works ok as expected. I can control the TS-2000 from my PC but I would like to take a try to the RC-2000.

Anyone has an opinion on that?
User experience is also nice?

I have a TS-480 which I use with my remote rig pair.

I also have a TS-2000. Can I convert the radio unit or do something to share between these type of radios?

Now I am closer.

SIP connection is not established yet

If I check my homebrew cables with the extender plug, TS-480 turns on but no audio is present.

I think that the AF pin is rght connected in both sides.

Any idea?

Is SIP connection initiated when AF is present on pin6?

Can you provide a set of tested cables?

Hello

I have received my TS-480 remote rig. It has been assembled but it doesn't work at this time, probably because a cabling mistake.

I am confused with the wiring diagram shown in the web page and the kenwood warning.

Is the correct way to connect pins upon the standard pinout number order of a RJ45? Ot it has to be inverted on theTS-480 mic side keeping the standard oreder on the RRC side?


With my "wrong cables" nothing happens. Ethernet connection beetwen units is ok. I can access both units from a PC connected to the same switch.

AUX led doesn't show connected status. Is the connection also established even if there is no cable connected to the RR? When the connection is established?. Is there any way to force it?
