Allmän diskussion / Re: PTT problem

Vi har haft hundratals nedladdningar av de nya versionerna och ingen har rapporterat nått sånt, så jag tror du har nått annat problem

I think you have the red straps placed in wrong positions. The COM0 serial port is also present in the socket, and if you have put a red strap in that position it will give the effect you describe. Check with the manual how you should count, when placing the straps.

I Agree with Mitch I don't see any need to support noip, those who want to use noip can setup their router to use it.

Jag har aldrig hört talas om den funktionen, men det är väl bara att testa för nån som har 2 st TS-2000, jag har ingen.

I looked at the schematics for the FT-7800, and the electrical connections are the same as for FT-8800/8900 so it's a good chance that it works with FT-7800 also, but we do not have one to test with. The manual are updated with the FT-8800/8900 and the firmware will  be released ASAP.

We have now fixed support for FT-8800/8900 and it will be included in next firmware release. The users manual will also be updated with a chapter for FT-8800/8900

Hi

You can install the pc -program and run it without the Remoterig  connected direct to the radio to evaluate the software. When connecting the Remoterig system you will get exactly the same functionallity as the Remoterig system only transfer the data and audio, and will not give any other influence on the control of the radio.

I used RTTY yesterday myself and the side tone is there. Have you enabled "Continuous RTP tx" in the Radio RRC I think it need to be set to YES so the audio will not be muted when PTT is "pressed" by the RTTY program.

Yes Remoterig will be at Dayton 2012

I will be at Dayton Hamvention, from Thursday to Sunday. We will not have our own booth but I think it will be a good chance to meet anyway. I will be at HRO booth at least once every day.

Hi

I have answered this before somewhere.

1. You can not use a splitter to K3 CAT. You should use the RRC:s built in CAT server, the SteppIR should be connected to RRC-Com1 and com1 should be set to mode 6 or 7. See manual.

2. Com1 is occupied by the SteppIR and cannot be used for a rotator in this config.

3. Ok

4. -

If you need to connect more equipment which need to talk to the K3 (antenna switch etc) the splitter should be connected to RRC com1. Nothing are allowed to be connected between the RRC com2 and the K3.

Hi

We have tested with FT-8800/8900 and it doesn't work. When we get some time we will see if something can be done about it.

Hi

It's not possible to bridge soundcards in Windows (as we are aware of at least) so, you must use one other soundcard (for example the internal ) for the PSK program and connect analog cables to the 1274 dongle.
